Job summary

KNAPP Benelux B.V. in Venlo is seeking a service technician to maintain our automated warehouse system in a compact team. You will handle both mechanical and electrical tasks on site and help keep our high-tech installations running smoothly.

You bring an mbo level in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering plus relevant experience. The role includes rotating shifts, learning on the job, and working closely with colleagues to solve challenges.

Qualifications

• MBO level in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Work experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts (06:00–14:30 and 14:30–23:00).
• Curiosity and proactivity; take the lead when problems arise and collaborate on solutions.

In Venlo, you will work in a small team with 6 other colleagues. Here, you get the space to develop further, both technically and personally. Will you become our new colleague?

As a service technician, you will have a versatile and challenging role in which you will be responsible for maintaining our automated warehouse system. As such, you will be involved daily in:

• Maintain and repair our advanced installations (60% mechanical, 40% electrical) on site, including storage and picking systems and countless kilometres of conveyors.
• Inventory, identify and solve (technical) problems and optimise equipment.
• Contributing to a positive climate and ensuring good cooperation.
• Continuous learning and development, both technical and personal, to get the best out of yourself every day and grow into the role that suits you perfectly.

What we offer

• A salary between EUR 3.000 and EUR 3.500(based on full-time), with growth potential up to EUR 4.200, depending on your experience and performance.
• Annual KNAPP bonus (and we are doing well as a company!)
• Excellent working conditions according to the CLA Metalektro, including:
  • A fixed shift allowance of 13.30% (14.36% including holiday allowance).
  • 50% allowance for overtime (payable in cash or time off).
  • 50% allowance for working Saturdays, 100% allowance on Sundays and public holidays.
  • 27 unrestricted holidays and 13 ADV (roster free) days (based on full-time).
  • Holiday allowance paid monthly.
