Job description

Job description: Independently maintain, troubleshoot, and repair elevator installations, lifting platforms, escalators, and moving walks. You are mainly scheduled by the Planner or Disruption Dispatcher. You maintain contact with the customer and pass on details to your direct colleagues (sales engineer and relationship manager) so that they can take follow-up steps if necessary, based on the principle that the installation works and will continue to work without disruptions.

The following are the requirements:

1. Responsible for ensuring the functionality, reliability, and safety of the installations.
2. Maintaining (preventively), troubleshooting, and repairing said installations.
3. Completing a service report correctly, cancelling orders both verbally with the on-site contact person and by means of a digital receipt.
4. Maintaining technical data in the lift book.
5. Working in accordance with all specified work and safety instructions. Immediately reporting unsafe situations, near misses, and accidents to your manager.
6. Inspecting said installations and supporting the performance of diagnostic tests to discover problems and carry out safety inspections by external parties.
7. Reporting problems in a timely manner, proposing solutions, providing recordings.
8. Submitting weekly statements on time for the planner to review.
9. Keeping track of the stock of materials (in your company car), and ordering additional supplies in a timely manner.
10. Handling tools, materials, digital tools, and other company property with care.
11. Working proactively in consultation for the correct maintenance and measures for the lift installations and its users.
12. Proactively collecting customer needs and wishes, providing solutions, and improving customer satisfaction.
13. Communicating with the customer about the work as an ambassador of our company.
14. Responsible for the correct disposal of hazardous substances, waste, and other materials.
15. Using PPE and work clothing provided correctly.
16. Participating in the breakdown service based on the roster, ensuring adequate staffing.
