Job summary

Vestas Wind Systems, a global leader in wind technology, is seeking a Dispatcher/Planning Coordinator for the Arnhem/Almere area. You will analyse service orders, allocate resources, and coordinate with technicians and customers to ensure efficient on-site maintenance and service delivery.

The role requires practical planning experience, fluency in Dutch and English, and a valid driver's license. You will work with SAP/ERP tools, develop better scheduling practices, and contribute to Vestas'

Qualifications

• MBO level education (MBO Logistics or MTS WTB) required.
• Experience with planning, planning tools and prioritization.
• Practical knowledge of MS Office/Excel; SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze numerical data and identify trends.
• Experience with technical planning or a dispatcher role in a technical environment.
• Understanding of WTG technology and interest in technical documentation.
• Knowledge of organizational processes and systems.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; full driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Define resources for service orders with Supervisors (competencies, materials, tools).
• Bundle and optimize work order composition.
• Daily communication with technicians, technical support functions, and customers.

Purpose and Reason for the Existence of the Job

Vestas Wind Systems is a major global Wind Turbine manufacturer with over 100 GW of installed Wind Turbines across 79 countries. Vestas sells, constructs and services Wind Turbines around the world. Globally Vestas employs around 29.000 employees.

Vestas Benelux is a local Sales Business Unit (SBU) with its main office in Arnhem. The SBU sells, constructs and services wind Turbines in the Netherlands, Belgium, Aruba & Curacao. The Benelux organization employs approximately 150 employees in the Benelux

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and preparation of service orders for technicians and technical approval of service orders after completion
• Prepare, level out & assign works for the territory & tasks of responsibility, to deliver best match for needs and potential. (i.e. weather conditions & skills)
• Define resources needed for service orders in collaboration with the Supervisors, e.g. competencies, materials, and tools
• Bundle and optimize work order composition
• Daily communication with technicians, technical support functions, and customers
• Continuous improvement, including active search for areas for improvement, as well as a strategic and long-term approach to planning future tasks

Qualifications

• MBO work and thinking level (MBO Logistics or MTS WTB)
• Experience with planning, planning tools and prioritization.
• Practical knowledge, skills and experience in MS Office/ Excel, SAP or similar ERP-systems.
• Ability to analyze numerical data and identify trends.
• Experience with technical planning or a dispatcher role, obtained in a technical environment
• General understanding of WTG technology and an interest in diving into technical documentation
• Knowledge of organizational processes and systems.
• Proficient oral and written fluency in Dutch and English.
• Full driver's license
