Job summary

Intro EU Staffing seeks a Service Engineer Maritime to perform maintenance and repair of transmissions and gearboxes for ships. The role starts in the Gorinchem workshop, inspecting and reassembling equipment and related control systems while preparing for on-site ship visits in the future.

You will work in a maritime and industrial setting, with opportunities for career advancement and a permanent contract. English fluency is required, and a strong willingness to learn is essential.

About the job*Only available for candidates who have their own accommodation in the Netherlands and can travel to this location independently. As a full time Service Engineer in the maritime sector, you are responsible for inspections, repairs and revisions to keep ship operational. At first this vacancy is focused on the workshop in Gorinchem. Here you will check, de- and reassemble different machinesystems for the maritime sector. Mainly transmissions and gearboxes, but also other control systems, pump drives, thrusters, pitch propellers, clutches and dampers. Your main tasks will be:Maintenance and repair of transmissions and gearboxes for maritime for ships.Inspections, repairs, and revisions of systems on the ship.In the future, repairing of systems at the ships on-site.About the companyThis company is established in 1970 and it is a specialist in drive systems in the maritime and industrial sector.
