Job summary

Trinamics in the Netherlands is looking for a hands-on mechanical assembler to join a high-tech manufacturing team. You will assemble, install, align and integrate mechanical modules and complete systems, following drawings and work instructions, and you will test and qualify assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.

You will work with engineers and technicians, analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to Lean, continuous improvement and NPI.

Job description

You assemble, adjust, qualify and test complete high-precision systems, working closely with engineers, technicians and other manufacturing teams.

• Assemble, install, align and integrate high-precision mechanical modules and complete systems
• Carry out both coarse and fine mechanical assembly using technical drawings and work instructions
• Perform alignments with precision measuring equipment
• Test and qualify assembled systems and verify they meet specifications before release
• Analyse test results, troubleshoot mechanical and system issues and find root causes
• Take corrective action to prevent production delays and escalat complex issues to Engineering
• Contribute to Lean, continuous improvement and new product introductions (NPI)
• Report progress and issues clearly, keep production documentation accurate and join daily team meetings
• Share knowledge and coach less experienced colleagues

Must-haves

• MBO level 3 or 4 in a technical field (e.g. mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aircraft or automotive technology) plus 2-3 years of hands-on experience in high-tech manufacturing, or an HBO degree in one of these fields
• Hands-on experience assembling complex mechanical systems
• Experience working with technical drawings, work instructions and quality procedures
• Strong affinity with assembly, testing, qualification and troubleshooting

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a high-tech production, maintenance or customer service environment, for example as a maintenance mechanic, car mechanic or aircraft mechanic
• Experience with both coarse and fine mechanical assembly
• Background in semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, mechatronics or precision manufacturing
• A proactive attitude: you take ownership and initiative, also when the workload is lower

• A salary of € 4,500 - € 5,000 gross per month, including allowances (excluding profit sharing)
