Job summary

WP Masters is seeking a motivated student for an SEO & AI/GEO marketing internship in Amsterdam. You will work on real client campaigns, focusing on SEO, content optimization, and AI-driven findability in next-generation search environments.

You will learn GEO marketing as well as how to analyze AI search behavior, conduct keyword research, and assist in online campaigns with guidance from an experienced marketing team. The internship includes a stipend.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in marketing, communication, media, data science, e-commerce, or similar.
• Interest in SEO, content optimization, and AI-driven findability models.
• Proactive, analytical, eager to learn, and data-driven.

Responsibilities

• Assist on real client projects including SEO optimization and content strategies.
• Learn GEO marketing to improve findability in AI-driven search results.
• Contribute ideas for creative content and AI-friendly search optimization.
• Participate in setting up, measuring, and optimizing online campaigns (Google).
• Report insights from analytics tools and SEO tools.

At WP Masters, you will have the opportunity to work on real campaigns for clients, where you will not only learn about SEO and search engine optimization, but also about GEO marketing, or in other words: optimizing findability within AI and next-generation online search experiences.

As an SEO & AI/GEO marketing intern, you will participate in tasks such as:

• SEO work for client sites (technical, on-page, content, and link building)
• Participating in GEO marketing: optimizing content so that it is easier to find in AI-driven search results, voice search, semantic search contexts, and generative systems
• Analyzing AI search behavior and trends to improve content strategies
• Keyword research focused on AI insight and intent analysis
• Assisting in setting up, measuring, and optimizing online campaigns (Google)
• Reporting insights from tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEranking, and AI SEO tools
• Contributing ideas about creative content and strategy to increase findability in new search environments
• Supporting the writing and optimization of content focused on AI-friendly search results

You will work closely with the marketing and SEO team and be given the opportunity to further develop your own interest in AI, search behavior, and content optimization.

What we expect

• You are enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in marketing, communication, media, data science, e-commerce, or a similar field.
• You are interested in SEO, content optimization, and new AI-driven findability models.
• You have a proactive attitude, analytical skills, and a desire to learn.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language.
• You have an affinity for data analysis and digital tools.
• Experience with SEO tools and Google Analytics is a plus, but enthusiasm and eagerness to learn are more important.
