Job summary

NauticALL in Amsterdam seeks an experienced Chief Engineer to join a 46m Feadship explorer yacht under construction. Starting in mid-September 2026, you will lead the final engineering build and coordinate closely with the shipyard, project office, and onboard team through delivery in June 2027 and beyond.

This role offers a private, family‑oriented program with a modern diesel‑electric propulsion system, a Rolls‑Royce azimuth pod arrangement, and generous benefits including medical insurance

Qualifications

• Experience on similar-sized yachts or new-build projects.
• Diesel-electric propulsion experience is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities.
• Hands-on, proactive team player.
• Fluent English.
• Willing to undergo a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead in final stages of build and handover process.
• Collaborate with shipyard, project office and onboard team through delivery to 2027.
• Support development of engineering department for long-term expedition program.
