Job summary

Veldwerk Uitzendbureau B.V. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a highly automated distribution center in Dordrecht serving international brands. Join a leadership team and oversee a large, diverse workforce to drive performance and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in supervisory logistics leadership, strong knowledge of WMS/WCS systems, and fluency in English. Dutch is a plus. Competitive gross monthly salary and an annual bonus await the right candidate.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Supervisor or in a comparable leadership role within logistics or warehousing.
Proven experience in automated warehouse environments.
In-depth knowledge of WMS systems and WCS shuttle systems (required).
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
A good command of Dutch is a strong advantage.
Energetic and proactive personality with positive drive and momentum.
Strong people skills and the ability to work effectively with different cultures and backgrounds.
Stress-resistant, resilient and comfortable in a demanding work environment.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and support multiple Team Leaders within the warehouse.
Take ownership of KPIs related to performance, productivity, quality and safety.
Work in a highly automated warehouse environment.
Work daily with WMS systems and WCS shuttle systems.
Manage a dynamic workday with planned leadership, analysis and improvement activities.
Rotate between four different departments (Outbound and Returns) to build broad operational knowledge.
Collaborate closely with fellow Supervisors and other stakeholders.
