GXO Logistics is recruiting a Senior Warehouse Coordinator to join our brand-new Amsterdam site. You will lead a team, shape the operation from the ground up and drive performance from day one.

You’ll coach colleagues, coordinate start-up activities, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient daily operations. English fluency is required; Dutch is aPlus. This startup-style role offers growth and development opportunities within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Senior Coordination or similar leadership role within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or distribution is preferred.
• A natural ability to motivate, engage and bring people with you.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is considered an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in a 2-shift pattern, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse colleagues, fostering a positive, safe and high-performing team culture.
• Drive performance through clear communication, coaching and a structured and process-focused approach, while actively supporting hiring, performance management and employee development.
• Own daily operations, ensuring work is delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest standards, including leading start-up meetings and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure work instructions and operational processes remain accurate, consistent and effective, and identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Take ownership of team performance and operational excellence by addressing challenges proactively and driving actions that improve safety, quality, efficiency and overall results.
