Job summary

Lean Six Search | Supply Chain Recruitment is seeking a Senior Operations Supervisor (Vessel Operations) in the Netherlands. The role involves assisting with all operations activities, collating reports, and maintaining vessel schedules. You will support the Operations Manager in ensuring timely and accurate communication with relevant stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a graduate with maritime or logistics experience, able to work flexible schedules, proficient in English, and ready for international travel. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Student or graduate in International Business, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
• Previous experience in the maritime, shipping, logistics, or port industry.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Availability to work flexible schedules based on vessel operational requirements.
• Availability for international travel when required.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and in a fast paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all Operations activities.
• Collate daily position reports received from Head Office for all vessels.
• Maintain and update vessel schedules, including ETA and ETD information.
• Prepare and distribute loading and discharge information for containers.
• Support the Operations Manager in ensuring accurate reporting.
