Job summary

The role requires 5–10 years in a similar liquid bulk terminal, fluency in Dutch and English, and a valid driver’s license. Expect irregular hours with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Education: MBO Operator B or similar.
• 5 to 10 years experience in a similar position in a liquid bulk terminal.
• Skills: Dutch language and English language essential; good communication; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor loading/unloading of sea-going vessels and barges with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate operational activities with vessel representatives and ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify unsafe situations, and take actions to mitigate risks.
• Support maintenance by identifying equipment issues and assisting with minor repairs.
• Manage shift logs and ensure smooth handover during shift changes.
• Supervise on-site contractors and ensure compliance with permits and safety guidelines.
