Job summary

Core Laboratories Inc. is seeking an Inspector Vegoil to autonomously inspect and sample agricultural oils and fats on vessels, barges, rail/road cars and shore tanks in Vlaardingen, adhering to FOSFA or similar procedures and Saybolt standards.

Responsibilities include performing precise measurements, ensuring proper labeling and traceability of samples, reporting findings to clients, and coordinating with terminals, labs and other parties.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience as a specialised inspector.
• IFIA Certified Inspector or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of vegetable and animal oils and fats, and related products.
• Strong mathematical calculation ability (flow rate, ratios, quantities).
• Good verbal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vessels, barges, railcars, and shore tanks for quality.
• Collect samples and ensure proper labeling and traceability.
• Verify calibration and accuracy of measurement equipment.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports to clients.
• Liaise with terminals, vessels, agents, and laboratories.
