Job summary

Core Laboratories is seeking a skilled Inspector in the Botlek area of Zuid-Holland, Netherlands. This role involves conducting complex petrochemical inspections, training junior staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and procedural standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience, a high school diploma, and be IFIA certified or equivalent. Candidates should be physically capable, have advanced knowledge of petrochemical products, and possess strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as an Inspector.
• Physically fit to lift items up to 20 kg.
• Valid driving license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct petrochemical inspections according to defined procedures.
• Verify accuracy of measurement equipment.
• Perform visual cleanliness inspections of vessels and tanks.
• Provide training and coaching to lower-level inspectors.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of Petrochemical products

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations

Advanced computer skills (MS Windows, Word, Excel)

Education

High school / secondary education or equivalent

IFIA Certified Inspector of Petroleum or equivalent
