Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer – Embedded Systems, SoC to lead validation efforts for a Delft-based wireless systems developer. You will oversee bring-up, tape-outs and all system-level validation, driving test plans implemented in Python and C.

You should have strong knowledge of digital circuits, memory and MCU architectures, with background in embedded systems validation and firmware testing.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded system validation and firmware testing.
• Background in digital circuits, memory and MCU architectures.
• Experience with test automation in Python / C is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded system level / SoC validation projects including bring-up and tape-outs.

This leading developer of wireless communication systems urgently seeks a Senior Validation Engineer – Embedded Systems, SoC to support their embedded systems validation group based in Delft. The Senior Validation Engineer – Embedded Systems, SoC will be responsible for leading embedded system level / SoC validation projects including bring-up, tape-outs and all system level validation activities. The Senior Validation Engineer – Embedded Systems, SoC will be responsible for all development (Python / C), implementation and execution of test plans ensuring the quality of SoCs through automated test setups.

Your skills and background will include a strong knowledge of digital circuits including memory and MCU architectures preferably gained in low-power IoT / wireless applications. Coupled with this you will have a background in validation of embedded systems and firmware including writing and executing test automation applications in C / Python. Any experience leading small teams would be beneficial as would real-time troubleshooting or debugging.
