Job summary

Fugro is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to lead testing of next-generation uncrewed surface vessels. You will ensure vessel systems, mission equipment, automation, software and interfaces are tested safely before release for operation.

You will cover the full testing lifecycle from FATs to harbour acceptance and commissioning, collaborating with Production, Engineering and suppliers to deliver reliable, mission-ready USVs.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of hands-on vessel testing or a comparable technical environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of integrated vessel systems, USV technology, automation, software and interfaces.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel regularly for testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Review technical requirements, supplier FAT evidence, acceptance criteria and test prerequisites before test execution.
• Provide technical leadership during component FAT, integration, harbour acceptance and commissioning activities.
• Configure vessel and mission systems, support calibration and test equipment, and capture objective evidence in TestRail.
