Job summary

Sioux in Eindhoven is seeking a (Senior) Test Designer to lead testing for high-tech software products. You translate test strategies into automated environments and ensure quality within multidisciplinary teams across sectors such as semiconductors and defense.

You’ll drive test architecture, define acceptance criteria, and optimize processes in Agile settings while collaborating with electronics and mechanics experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• ISTQB Advanced certification.
• Experience in software engineering.
• At least 9 years of experience in software testing & test automation in a technical setting.
• Skilled in Python, C#, or C++.
• Experience with test strategies, BDD/TDD, and the Gherkin language; MBT is a plus.
• Knowledge of real-time systems, modeling, design patterns, and development methodologies.
• Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams involving electronics and mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Executing the test architecture for software test automation and leading its development.
• Identifying test levels, quality criteria, and acceptance conditions.
• Designing and managing test environments and related infrastructure.
• Applying test automation like BDD for effective test coverage.
• Working in high-tech environments.
• Supporting multidisciplinary development teams with test expertise.
• Optimizing test processes within Agile workflows.
