Job summary

Based in Brunssum, Netherlands, the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) seeks a specialist to join CSU Brunssum, delivering end-to-end CIS services across peacetime, crisis, and war. You will advise on specialist topics, manage knowledge, availability, and incidents within a leading NATO CIS environment.

The role requires a background in ICT end systems, two years post-qualification experience, and English fluency.

Qualifications

  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience, or secondary education with 4 years post-related experience.
  • At least 2 years' practical experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization.
  • Extensive experience configuring hardware and software.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

About the job:

Based in Brunssum, Netherlands you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSU Brunssum, which is the leading provider of Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services to locally based NATO entities. CSU Brunssum enables end-to-end CIS services and manages critical technological capabilities during peacetime, crisis and war.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

  • Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience. Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience
  • At least 2 years practical experience of implementation and maintenance of ICT end systems within a large organization.
  • Extensive experience configuring hardware and software.
  • A strong understanding of ICT systems and the ability to work independently to solve problems.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
