Job summary

Apadmi is seeking a Technical Architect in Amsterdam to translate complex designs into detailed, build-ready architectures. You will own cloud infrastructure decisions and provide overarching technical steering while delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions for client projects across finance, retail, health and sport.

You'll lead technical discussions with clients, mentor delivery teams and uphold agile engineering standards, ensuring the architecture aligns with business goals and budgets.

Qualifications

• Deep practical AWS, GCP or Azure experience with large-scale solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and cloud security.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript or .NET.
• Good grasp of Domain-Driven Design and modern architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical consultant for major clients and translate goals into technical strategies.
• Turn high-level designs into detailed architectures and own cloud infrastructure decisions.
• Provide overarching technical steering for architecture, ensuring scalability and resilience.
• Lead by example with clean, high‑performance engineering and contribute to codebases.
• Support bids and pitches with technical specifications to enable honest estimates.
• Drive feasibility studies and define MVP boundaries for large-scale engagements.
