Job summary

Apadmi in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to drive end-to-end digital product delivery, nurture client relationships, and mentor delivery teams. You’ll own discovery through launch, coordinating Product, Design, Engineering and Architecture to translate requirements into deliverable solutions.

You will steer budgets and governance, manage risks, and champion continuous process improvements. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential for effective stakeholder engagement.

• Significant experience delivering complex digital products in agencies or consultancies.

What You’ll Be Working On

As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll take ownership of complex digital products from initial discovery through development, launch, and ongoing iteration. You will lead multidisciplinary teams - working alongside specialists in Product, Design, Engineering, and Architecture - to turn business requirements into high-performing digital experiences. This is a hands‑on senior role offering the opportunity to mentor other Delivery Managers, influence commercial outcomes, and drive meaningful growth within a fast-expanding digital agency.

• Work directly with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable scope, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage delivery backlogs and coordinate multidisciplinary teams through discovery, development, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clear project plans, delivery commitments, milestones, and governance frameworks.
• Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and resources while making informed technical delivery decisions in partnership with Engineering and Architecture teams.
• Coordinate testing, release readiness, and successful product launches.
• Own project budgets, forecasting, and commercial performance, including Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates, and change control.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, serving as their primary delivery partner and challenging requirements constructively to maximise value.
• Lead, support, and foster effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and guide other Delivery Managers to help build and elevate Apadmi's overall delivery capability.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements to delivery processes, tools, and ways of working.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

You are an experienced delivery leader who thrives in agency or consultancy environments, blending strong technical and Agile understanding with commercial acumen and client relationship management. You excel at turning complex business needs into clear team direction and fostering high-performing, collaborative squad environments.

• Significant experience delivering complex digital products within an agency, consultancy, or software development environment.
• Proven track record in requirements gathering, scope definition, and backlog management.
• Strong commercial ownership with direct experience managing project budgets, forecasts, estimation, and change control.
• Confidence leading senior client relationships and guiding multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycles, and technical delivery dependencies.
• Hands‑on experience with delivery governance, risk management, testing, and release management.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional fluency in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Experience delivering mobile applications or complex digital platforms (desirable).
• Familiarity with delivery management tools such as Jira and Confluence, and experience mentoring other managers (desirable).
