Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Storage and IO team in Amsterdam. You will help build the next generation cloud storage I/O platform to deliver fast, reliable reads and writes across cloud storage systems, powering scalable data analytics.

You'll work on low-level systems, distributed computing, and data infrastructure, collaborating with engineers across Spark, Hadoop, and other big data technologies to optimize performance and reliability for millions of

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of production-level experience in Java, Scala, or C++.
• Experience with distributed systems, databases, and big data.
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with low-level systems (OS, networking, CPU optimizations).
