Job summary

Stryker is seeking an experienced Events/Project Planner to coordinate local and European events, liaising with product managers, sales, and logistic teams. The role requires fluency in English and Dutch or French, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, self-starting approach.

You will ensure compliant attendee management (HCPs), GDPR data handling, and timely invoicing and logistics, while driving continuous improvement and KPI achievement across functions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in event management/project planning.
• Confident with virtual event platforms and their features.
• Fluent English plus Dutch or French.
• Good Excel working knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility to support events.
• Ability to discuss events with owners and discuss regulatory considerations.
• Evidence of objective measurement of achievements.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement of customer service.
• Build relationships with other functions to drive leverage opportunities.
• Ensure compliance, SOX, FCPA and quality policies in events planning.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with all the major functions of the business with a given guideline such as business units, compliance, finance and more to achieve key activities on a local, European and / or cross-divisional level.

• Deal directly with sales force / product managers in relation to event reviews on a regular basis.
• Work with all virtual event platforms required by the business
• Liaise with event owners on a regular basis to discuss events (current & future)

• Ensure all HCP’s are invited using the correct compliance process (as dictated in country)

• Ensure all HCP information is stored effectively with GDPR and compliance policies in mind

• Regular review of processes to ensure updates to any regulations, compliance policies are complete
• Supplier account management

• Work with event invoicing to ensure timely payments
• Work with event logistics to ensure timely booking of flights/hotels etc
• Ensure all KPI’s are monitored effectively and achieved

• Assist in maintaining a culture of continuous improvement of service provided to our customers.

• Build and maintain relationships with other functions while driving leverage opportunities across the areas.

• Ensure all compliance, SOX, FCPA and quality policies are implemented and applied in any undertaking of events planning.

Requirements:

• Third level qualification
• 2+ year’s event management/project planningexperience
• Confidence with virtual event platforms and their features
• Fluent English + fluent Dutch/French
• Good excel working knowledge
• Good problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to be able to support business needs for events
• Selects effective approaches to solving issues, based on available information and business objectives
• Understands and considers customers, regulatory and legislative issues when making decisions

• Understands what is needed to accomplish project objectives and establish appropriate goals and priority. Demonstrate clear evidence of objective measurement of their achievements.

• Builds and maintains relationships with key internal stakeholders and with key clients/customer groups that support and improve effectiveness

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Work experience in a Medical Device company

• Knowledge of MedTech Europe Compliance
• CAPS contract management system

Belgium Pay Ranges:

• Belgium: €56.200 - €93.500 EUR Annual

Netherlands Pay Ranges:

• Netherlands: €48.600 - €90.300 EUR Annual
