Job summary

Adidas is seeking a data analytics professional to drive data-driven decisions within Order Fulfillment. The role focuses on analytics, reporting, and process optimization using Power BI, SQL, and Databricks.

The candidate will support S&OP processes, monitor performance, and communicate insights to cross-functional teams to improve end-to-end fulfillment operations.

Job description

The purpose of this role is to drive data-driven decision making and continuous improvement within the Order Fulfillment function by transforming operational data into actionable business insights. The role has a strong focus on analytics, reporting, and process optimization, leveraging tools such as Databricks, SQL, and Power BI to develop and maintain reporting solutions, performance dashboards, and analyses that support operational and strategic objectives.

The role supports the S&OP process to help secure IBP achievement and aims to optimize end-to-end Order Fulfillment operations through data-driven insights, performance monitoring, and process improvements. Success in this role requires experience working with data, reporting, and analytics tools, combined with the ability to identify trends, highlight risks and opportunities, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders across Order Fulfillment, Customer Fulfillment, GBS, IT, and other cross-functional teams. The role acts as a bridge between operational teams and business partners, translating data into meaningful actions that drive operational performance and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create dashboards and reports in Power BI using SQL. Develop and execute testing and validation plans to guarantee data integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Actively participate in the Power BI key user community, "Power Rangers," by sharing expertise and best practices, while continuously learning from others to enhance reporting capabilities and drive knowledge exchange.
• Develop ad hoc reports using PowerBI or Databricks according to requests and business needs, interpret and analyze data, derive trends and key takeaways, and present business insights in a clear format to stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly S&OP support meeting materials and minutes, coordinate and follow up on stakeholder actions, support the validation of mid-term wholesale shipment plans and availability coverage, perform shipping target simulations and ad hoc analyses to support outbound planning and other fulfilment related actions.
• Ownership of the SCM (Supply Chain Management) weekly deck. Derive business insights from the reporting, provide key highlights and recommended actions based on the information in the deck, make sure everything is on time, and distribute the deck to the stakeholders.
• Conduct analysis of operational or force majeure issues, align with stakeholders, recommend and execute agreed improvement actions in a timely manner, and keep the stakeholders updated on the progress.
• Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of practical solutions to enhance operational performance and achieve departmental objectives.
• Execute analysis and optimization of an organization's business processes to improve overall organization performance.
• Work cross-functionally within SCM including teams in different locations to ensure that projects and initiatives are delivered successfully.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Power BI and SQL for reporting and data analysis is required.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting is required.
• Understanding supply chain processes, key cost and service drivers, and end-to-end business impacts.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent in a related field
• 2-3 years working experience in Supply Chain Management
• Excellent Power BI skills are a must, including hands-on experience in building, maintaining, and improving reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is a must (especially Excel)
• Experience participating in meetings with senior stakeholders, presenting analytical findings and reporting insights, preparing summary materials, and effectively communicating outcomes to cross-functional teams.
