Job summary

ASM in Almere invites a seasoned Supply Chain Planner - Customer Engagement & Engineering to join our cross-functional team. You will link customers, engineering, operations, and supply chain to ensure material availability, fulfill demands, and maintain SLA, while driving improvements through data analysis.

You will lead demand planning, inventory optimization, and NPI/ECO support, with a focus on customer satisfaction and collaboration with engineering on product changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, operations management, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, customer service, operations, or engineering support.
• Experience working in a customer-facing or cross-functional planning role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand, supply, and inventory plans to support customer requirements and meet SLA's.
• Analyze performance metrics, monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
• Act as the primary contact for assigned customers and manage escalations effectively to drive customer satisfaction.
• Partner with engineering teams on product lifecycle management activities and drive cross-functional technical reviews and project meetings.
• Develop forecasting and demand analysis reports and track KPIs.
