Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with cloud experience to enhance our cloud-based, event-driven performance testing platform. You will design, develop, and maintain the platform, integrate it with existing tools, and ensure scalable, robust solutions for customers.

In this role, you will work in a hybrid setup with a 36-hour work week, collaborating with engineers, platform specialists, and stakeholders to deliver impactful results while contributing to Rabobank's cutting-edge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,030 and EUR 7,183 (scale 09)for a 36-hour work week.
• Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.
• Development budget: EUR 1,400 development budget per year for your growth and development.

You & your role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the development, availability, and performance of our cloud-based, event-driven, and microservices architecture solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing andmaintaininga robust performance testing platform, integrating it with existing metric solutions, and ensuring our systems are intuitive, easy to use, and require minimal cognitive load.
