Job summary

SWITCH in the Brainport region seeks an experienced software engineer to help create and integrate system control software for high-tech equipment across semiconductor, analytical, and medical technology sectors. You will enable real-time, cross-platform solutions with state machines and modern C++ based on customer needs.

You will work in a collaborative environment, own your assignments from design to delivery, mentor peers, and stay up to date with new technologies.

Qualifications

5-7 years of software development in high-tech industries.
Experience developing OS-based system control software using modern C++ and model-driven development in Agile/SAFe.
Strong expertise in C++, C#, Python or similar languages.
Experience developing software across different operating systems including real-time, state machines, and high-performance applications.
Experience maintaining and modernizing legacy code.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, ICT, or related field.
Willingness to travel internationally.
