Job summary

Jobgether SRL in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/React) as an independent contractor. You will work on a data-intensive platform, covering backend microservices and modern frontend UIs, with ownership from idea to production and ongoing enhancement.

This remote role requires US Eastern Time hours to collaborate with a global team, and involves contributing to technical strategy, standards, and the modernization of systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building backend services with Golang and web apps.
• Strong frontend experience with TypeScript/React for modern UIs.
• Experience deploying services in Docker and working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
• SQL proficiency and handling data-intensive applications with relational DBs.
• Knowledge of clean-code, design patterns, and engineering standards.
• Excellent communication to explain technical topics to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and evolve Golang microservices and frontend apps.
• Build performant React/TypeScript components with a solid design system.
• Own features end-to-end from ideation to production and improvement.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
• Improve observability, performance, and reliability with monitoring tooling.
• Raise engineering quality via code reviews, automation, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to deliver business impact.
