Job summary

BlueBitSoft is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop scalable software solutions in a hybrid work setup in the Netherlands. You will specialize in either backend (C# .NET Core) or frontend (Angular) while maintaining strong proficiency in the other, collaborating closely with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams.

You will work with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and a microservices architecture, implement test automation, and contribute to CI/CD practices in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Deep expertise in either Backend (C# .NET Core) or Frontend (Angular) and proficiency in the other.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, microservices, and test automation (preferred).
• Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

Your Responsibilities

• Engineering & Development:
• Backend-Focused: Develop high-performance, scalable services using C# .NET Core.
• Frontend-Focused: Build dynamic, user-friendly applications using Angular.
• Work with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and microservices architecture.
• Implement test automation and CI/CD best practices.
• Collaboration & Agile Execution:
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices with the team.
• Operational & Continuous Improvement:
• Take ownership of the features and services you build.
• Optimize performance, security, and system reliability.
• Identify risks and propose scalable, maintainable solutions.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Deep expertise in either Backend (C# .NET Core) or Frontend (Angular) and proficiency in the other.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, microservices, and test automation (preferred).
• Ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
