Job summary

GEODIS in Almere, Netherlands, is seeking a Site Manager to lead the daily operations of a highly automated logistics site for a major fashion client. You will manage shifts and up to 250 FTE at peak, directing MSP partners to ensure safe, profitable operations with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement.

The role requires HBO+ education, extensive experience in automated logistics, and a proven KPI-driven leadership record.

Qualifications

• Experience as a manager in a highly automated logistics environment.
• Proven ability to lead large teams and complex processes.
• Experience with shift work, MSP, and steering based on real-time data.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute operational policy aligned with client and GEODIS objectives.
• P&L responsibility: budget, turnover, margin, EBIT.
• Lead and develop the team with focus on motivation, growth and staffing.
• Plan a largely automated warehouse.
• Report on financial and operational performance and identify risks.
