Flexport is hiring a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Security Engineer in Amsterdam. You’ll shape cloud security architecture across AWS and Kubernetes, implement secure defaults, and drive IaC and policy tooling. Expect collaboration with global teams, Go/Python coding, and a hands-on security posture role.

We value 5–8 years in cloud security, Terraform/GitOps expertise, and IAM design. The role blends engineering rigor with security ownership in a fast-growing multinational.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of cloud or infrastructure security experience.
• Hands-on AWS and Kubernetes experience.
• Go or Python and scripting proficiency.
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and GitOps experience.
• IAM design with least-privilege knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and review cloud security architecture for AWS and Kubernetes.
• Fix the Terraform module at the pattern level.
• Harden Kubernetes platform: pod security, network policy, secrets.
• Partner with platform engineers to bake in secure defaults.
• Build policy-as-code and IaC scanning for CI.
• Write Go or Python code shipped via CI/CD.
