Job summary

Fortaegis Technologies is seeking a Senior Security Certifications Engineer to lead the day-to-day execution of our product security certification program, covering FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria and applicable regulatory frameworks. You will work closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure certification decisions are properly reflected in design and documentation.

In this role you will author detailed evidence artefacts, manage interactions with accredited labs and certification bodies, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years working directly on product security certifications.
• Deep hands-on FIPS 140-3 (or 140-2) and Common Criteria experience.
• Proven track record producing certification evidence artefacts for hardware or firmware cryptographic products.
• Experience managing accredited test laboratories and certification bodies.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day execution of product security certification projects (FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria, EU CC) with evidence-complete delivery.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware engineers on security-relevant design decisions and document actions.
• Gather and author certification evidence artefacts and liaise with labs and cert bodies.
• Coordinate lab engagements and manage deficiency cycles and submissions.
• Maintain audit-ready Secure Development Lifecycle and Secure Release processes.
