Job summary

Eneco, a leading European sustainable energy company, seeks a Senior Security Architect to define the security blueprint across IT, OT, cloud, and supplier ecosystems — owning standards, running reviews, and acting as the security voice in major programmes and platform initiatives.

You drive secure-by-design across the organisation, translate current gaps into a practical roadmap, and align with NIS2, DORA, GDPR requirements while collaborating with enterprise architects and engineering leads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cybersecurity, security engineering, or security architecture.
• Experience designing security across IT, OT, cloud, and supplier ecosystems.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead governance forums.
• Knowledge of NIS2, DORA, GDPR, and related regulation.

Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise security architecture principles and reference architectures.
• Lead security architecture reviews and governance for major programmes.
• Embed secure-by-design across cloud, OT, and applications.
• Translate gaps into a roadmap and ensure regulatory alignment.
