Job summary

Eneco is seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to design, implement and operate mission-critical SCADA platforms for energy production and flexibility assets. You’ll connect SCADA to AGC, EMS/DERMS and trading interfaces, while collaborating with OT specialists, engineers and business colleagues.

You will lead design reviews, assess technical options, and coach junior engineers to improve reliability, security and observability across the SCADA domain.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SCADA engineering experience in energy/utility contexts.
• Experience with large-scale systems in grid operations or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of HMI, RTUs, PLCs and telemetry; strong real-time monitoring concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure and maintain SCADA solutions for energy production and flexibility assets.
• Connect SCADA to AGC, EMS and DERMS platforms.
• Establish and maintain interfaces with trading platforms, asset management, OT environments and data platforms.
• Lead design reviews and technical assessments; coach other SCADA engineers.
