Heerema Marine Contractors in Leiden is seeking a Senior ROV & Tooling Specialist Engineer to own subsea work packages, manage interfaces with subcontractors, and drive engineering decisions across decommissioning, transport and installation projects.

You will independently manage technical work packages, act as SPOC for designated subcontractors, and help shape innovative tooling solutions while supporting tender and project execution.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, ocean tech, aeronautical or aerospace engineering.
• 10+ years offshore and subsea experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and technical interfaces.
• Ability to independently drive engineering scopes and technical decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage technical interface between subcontractors and Heerema's vessels and project teams.
• Assess subcontractor proposals for subsea services.
• Act as internal technical SPOC for designated subcontractors.
• Lead engineering activities related to ROV, subsea cutting and dredging operations.
• Define fit-for-purpose tooling solutions for complex subsea challenges.
• Define testing and qualification requirements and provide support during testing and offshore execution (~10% of the year).
• Monitor market developments and evaluate emerging technologies and solutions.
