Job summary

ASN Bank in Utrecht seeks a Senior Risk Reporting Specialist to transform risk information into strategic, decision-ready insights for senior management and boards. You will lead enterprise-risk reporting, champion automation, and guide data-driven governance across Risk, Finance, Data and IT.

You will translate complex risk developments into concise executive insights, drive standardisation, own the KRI framework, and spearhead AI-enabled reporting initiatives to support senior decision-making.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Risk Reporting or related fields within financial services.
• Proven experience leading executive-level reporting and communicating with senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, KRIs, governance and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience driving reporting transformation, automation, or data quality improvements.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled reporting approaches.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across Risk, Finance, IT, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of enterprise-wide Risk Reporting and Integrated Risk Reports.
• Translate complex risk developments into concise executive-level insights and recommendations.
• Drive standardisation of reporting processes to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
• Own the KRI framework, data quality standards, and regulatory alignment (BCBS239, COREP, FINREP).
• Lead initiatives for automated, data-driven reporting and decision support.
• Champion AI-enabled solutions (e.g., Copilot) to improve reporting efficiency and insights.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on reporting content and risk messaging.
