Job summary

ASN Bank in Utrecht is seeking a medior Risk Reporting Specialist to turn complex risk data into clear, decision-ready insights for risk committees, the Executive Board, and Supervisors.

You will help shape risk reporting in a data-driven and AI-enabled environment, collaborating with Risk, Finance and IT, delivering integrated risk reports, reducing manual steps, and supporting automated reporting with Power BI, SQL and Python, while exploring AI use cases such as Microsoft Copilot to boost

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in Risk and/or Regulatory Reporting within a financial institution.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting to CRO/ExBO/Supervisory Board.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and basic SQL.
• Affinity with data governance, data quality, and AI tools.
• Strong stakeholder management across Risk, Finance, IT and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Integrated Risk Reports and translate complex data into clear CRO-level insights for senior stakeholders.
• Identify and reduce manual steps in reporting processes and standardise recurring reporting cycles.
• Maintain and improve the KRI framework, including data quality, definitions, and regulatory alignment.
• Support the transition to automated reporting using Power BI, SQL, and Python.
• Explore and implement AI-enabled use cases to improve efficiency and insight generation within the Risk reporting community.
