Job summary

4most Group in Amsterdam seeks a Senior Consultant Risk Advisory (Banking) to deliver advisory projects for banks, from global players to regional lenders. You will collaborate with 4most colleagues and client teams on modeling, validation, and risk projects.

As part of a dynamic team, you’ll contribute to ESG integration, regulatory compliance, and growth initiatives while expanding expertise in credit risk, IFRS 9, and stress testing.

Qualifications

• You have a university degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, Quantitative Finance or comparable subject.
• You bring 4+ years' experience in risk, analytics or data science for banks, obtained by working for a bank, consulting firm or regulatory body.
• You have technical experience with A-IRB, IFRS 9 or Stress Testing models.
• You are experienced with processing large datasets using Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL or R.
• You understand European (prudential) regulation and supervision at banks in Europe.
• You are a strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex topics.
• You have a good command of English, preferably Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Develop credit risk and pricing models for regulatory and business purposes.
• Validate and challenge models on design, performance and implementation.
• Conduct stress testing across various scopes.
• Process large credit risk datasets and improve data quality.
• Integrate ESG across data, models and risk processes.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations.
• Remediate supervisory findings (ECB/DNB).
• Present results to senior management and participate in business development.
