Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Omgevingsmanager to lead permitting and regulatory strategies for major data center and critical infrastructure projects in the Netherlands.

You will advise clients, authorities, and project teams on complex regulatory challenges, build trusted relationships with municipalities, regulators, and utilities, and support growth initiatives across the Benelux market.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Dutch permitting, regulatory, planning, or stakeholder management.
• Delivery of complex infrastructure, energy, or data center projects.
• Experience with municipalities, environmental agencies, utilities, regulators.
• Fluent Dutch and professional English; French language capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead permitting and regulatory strategy for major data center projects.
• Advise clients, authorities, and project teams on regulatory challenges.
• Develop practical, compliant solutions for planning, environmental, and grid constraints.
• Build relationships with municipalities, regulators, utilities, stakeholders.
• Support business development and strategic client growth initiatives.
• Escalate high‑profile permitting and stakeholder issues.
