Job summary

Zenith Associates Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their civils contractor team in Amsterdam, leading a Data Centre project with a 9-12 month programme. You will oversee commercial management and financial control from start to finish.

The role offers up to a €140,000+ total package, relocation support, and opportunities across Europe, with NEC and civils/CSA background preferred.

The Company

A specialist Civils Contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Amsterdam.

The business delivers complex packages across Data Centres, Major Projects, High Rise and Industrial, with significant work secured across the Netherlands.

With 150% of the 2027 regional target already secured, this is an excellent time to join as the business expands its commercial and project delivery teams.

You will be leading a Data Centre project located in Amsterdam with a 9 - 12 month programme. Projects typically range from €1m - €10m in value. Office & site based in Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects/packages from start to finish
• Valuations, applications, payments and forecasting
• Subcontractor and client account management
• Managing and pricing variations and change
• NEC contract management
• Commercial risk and opportunity management
• Procurement and subcontractor management
• Working closely with delivery teams and senior management

About You

• 5+ years' Quantity Surveying experience
• Strong Civils / CSA background
• Contractor or subcontractor experience
• Proven commercial ownership of projects/packages
• Strong NEC knowledge
• Experience managing variations, change and commercial risk
• Understanding of groundworks, foundations, utilities and/or underground services
• Strong client and third-party management skills
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership
• Practical, operational mindset

Data Centre experience is beneficial but not essential. The key requirement is strong civils/CSA commercial experience, ideally gained within a contractor or specialist subcontractor environment.
