Job summary

ITProposal in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced Quality Manager (QA/QC Specialist) to strengthen a Quality Management team within a large-scale data quality and transformation program in the financial sector.

You will oversee QA and QC activities across testing, documentation, risk assessment, and reporting, with a hybrid work arrangement after a full-time onboarding in the Amsterdam office. The role requires 5+ years of experience and HBO/WO education, with travel to Heerlen as needed.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO or WO-level education.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience performing and documenting testing activities in a quality‑assurance environment.
• Experience in quality management, audit, risk management, QA, or QC.
• Experience working within the financial sector in a comparable role.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation.
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across different teams.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and execute QA and QC assessment activities.
• Plan and perform testing and quality assessment activities in accordance with established processes and standards.
• Ensure that QA/QC activities and results are accurately documented and recorded.
• Review findings and identify quality or process-related risks.
• Consult and collaborate with different teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
• Align findings and observations with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports on assessment outcomes.
• Monitor the follow-up of findings and corrective actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of quality assurance and control processes.
• Challenge processes and outcomes where necessary to ensure quality and risk controls are maintained.
• Support the application and evaluation of data quality frameworks.
