Job summary

CoolGames is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive quality across the lifecycle of HTML5 casual games. You will test manually and automate tests, collaboratively shaping test strategies while maintaining a strong focus on user experience and gameplay quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing; gamedev experience preferred.
• Experience across platforms (mobile, desktop, web).
• Familiar with SDLC and STLC.
• Strong test design techniques and their applicability.
• Experience with Agile development processes and tools (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to write, review and debug automation tests.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Automation experience with Playwright/Cypress/WebdriverIO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test games manually (black box testing).
• Identify and track project issues.
• Focus on user experience, gameplay mechanics, graphics and audio.
• Participate in QA planning and sprint activities.
• Review game design documents and functional specs.
• Create test documentation (plans, checklists, reports).
• Design, implement and maintain automated tests with Playwright.
• Facilitate smooth releases and collaborate with the team.
• Provide feedback to improve game quality and experience.
