Job summary

CoolGames is seeking a QA Lead to make quality visible across producers, developers, management and platform partners. You’ll steer a skilled international QA team in a partly remote environment and shape testing in an AI-assisted world.

You’ll manage the interface between QA and the rest of the company, ensuring quality is understood and actionable while staying hands-on when needed. Grow the team and drive risk-informed decisions.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
7+ years in software testing with QA leadership experience.
Solid grounding in SDLC and STLC, test design techniques and testing types.
Experience planning QA across parallel projects and platforms in Agile.
Experience with Jira and TestRail or similar, including reporting.
Pragmatic, evidence-based view on AI in testing.

Responsibilities

Bridge QA, production, development and management; translate test results into risk and go/no-go advice.
Be the voice of QA inside and out; ensure stakeholders understand QA work and standards.
Line management: 1-on-1s, growth, workload and hiring.
Weigh quality risk against business objectives and back or refuse risky options.
Plan QA capacity across projects/releases and raise early flags when quality is at risk.
Own quality reporting: release readiness, coverage, bug trends and roadmap impact.
Challen ge the team and identify opportunities they're too close to see.
Help the team explore AI-assisted testing where it truly adds value.
