Job summary

Stafide is seeking a Senior Python Platform Engineer for the Data Access Layer. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable software, building APIs with FastAPI and backend services using SQLAlchemy.

You will implement asynchronous components, containerize with Docker and Kubernetes, and provision infra with Terraform in an Azure cloud environment. You will collaborate in an Agile DevOps setting, perform code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of professional software engineering or platform engineering experience.
• Hands-on Python development and backend/API design.
• Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and async Python.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience in Azure-based infrastructure and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Data Access Layer software.
• Build APIs and backend services using FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.
• Develop asynchronous components with AsyncIO where needed.
• Create and maintain containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Terraform for infra.
