Job summary

JobCubby is partnering with a Netherlands-based opportunity for a Middle to Senior Python Developer. You will work on high-performance backend systems within a fast-paced iGaming tech environment, using a modern Python stack, delivering scalable services and responsible for production reliability.

You will shape architecture, implement features, integrate payments and data providers, and collaborate with an international team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong Python 3.x and Django knowledge.
• Experience with high-load, scalable backend systems.
• Proficient in software engineering fundamentals.
• English proficiency; collaboration in international teams.
• Experience in iGaming or sports betting.

Responsibilities

• Make architectural decisions for backend products and services.
• Design, develop, test reliable backend solutions with Python and Django.
• Build features and integrations with payments and data providers.
• Develop automated communications and risk management systems.
• Monitor production systems for reliability and performance.
• Own tasks from development to delivery.
• Decompose complex requirements into actionable tasks.
