Responsibilities

• Lead agile ceremonies, write user stories, drive cut-over and post-implementation support.

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer with 8+ years of experience in software development and support. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in Python, FastAPI, and microservices architecture with proven capabilities in solution design, technical documentation, and Agile project delivery.

• Solution Architecture: Design and maintain scalable microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• Event-Driven Messaging: Architect streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Cloud & DevOps: Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps) and deploy containerized apps using Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm.
• Agile Leadership: Write user stories, lead sprint ceremonies (Planning, Grooming, Retrospectives), and drive project cut-over & post-implementation support.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex business needs into functional specs and technical documentation.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional experience in software development and support.
• Core Tech Stack: Python, FastAPI, Microservices architecture, and Apache Kafka.
• Cloud & Containers: Hands-on experience with Azure or OCI, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm.
• CI/CD: Proficiency with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Agile Frameworks: Experience in SAFe Agile, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication, strong business acumen, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
