Job summary

SBM Offshore in Rotterdam seeks an experienced Project Quality Manager to lead quality management across our oil and gas projects. You will support the Project Quality Manager, liaise with clients, vendors, and contractors, and promote a culture of quality excellence.

Requirements include a bachelor's or master's in a related field, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, and 10+ years in oil and gas with strong knowledge of QMS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, science, or a related quality discipline.
• Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent.
• Experience in oil and gas quality management is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead audits and ensure compliance with QMS standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary support to the Project Quality Manager in executing quality management within the project.
• Act as key contact for clients on quality matters in the absence of the Project Quality Manager.
• Support the execution of the project quality plan and audits.
• Establish and maintain the Project Quality Audit Plan; conduct internal and external audits and close corrective actions.
• Review quality-related documents submitted by Vendors in a timely manner.
• Lead quality induction sessions for stakeholders including Vendors and Subcontractors.
• Monitor resolutions of quality notifications and escalations according to processes.
• Analyze project quality performance and provide status updates and timely reporting.
• Participate in quality incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
