Job summary

SBM Offshore in Rotterdam seeks a Senior Project Engineer for Process & Rotating Packages to lead complex FPSO projects. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary activities, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure technical excellence across all project phases.

You bring 10+ years of oil & gas project engineering experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in project engineering in oil & gas.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Oversee coordination between engineering, procurement and construction teams.
• Conduct and oversee advanced technical evaluations, risk assessments and feasibility studies.
• Monitor and drive project progress and implement corrective actions.
• Review technical documentation for standards, safety and company policies.
• Serve as liaison with clients, contractors and regulators.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster continuous technical excellence.
• Support development of the project engineering team.
