Job summary

Neste in Rotterdam seeks a Senior Project Planner to lead scheduling for EPC/EPCM and major investment projects in the global project controls group. You will oversee construction contractor schedules, master schedules, and schedule integrations, driving new systems and best practices across the portfolio.

The role requires extensive experience in project controls, strong leadership, and proficiency with scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project).

Qualifications

Demonstrated >6 years of project controls experience in planning.
Proven competence in managing planning processes for major capital projects.
Strong ability to develop and maintain project schedules across phases.
Excellent leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills in English.
Experience with international project business is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate the planning process for all investment projects.
Identify opportunities to advance PC maturity through new systems and processes.
Coordinate planning development and ensure adoption across major investments.
Lead global PC standards for cost, schedule, and change management.
Set up project and portfolio schedule development and control and progress reporting.
Forecast progress and update schedules for future work.
Ensure safety and quality in all planning activities.
