Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager & Team Lead to own the delivery of High Voltage Switchgear and Power Transformer projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, oversee risks, and drive project execution while supporting the development of Project Managers.

The role emphasizes collaboration across customers, engineering, suppliers, and site personnel, with a focus on safety and quality within the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience in technical, industrial, or energy project environments.
• Proven track record in managing customer-facing projects with a focus on cost, schedule, quality, and risk management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex customer projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful handover and customer satisfaction.
• Serve as the primary contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, managing risks and opportunities effectively.
• Coordinate activities among customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor and report on project KPIs, implementing corrective actions to drive project success.
• Support and mentor a team of Project Managers, fostering collaboration and consistency in project execution practices.
