Job summary

QbD Group in Breda (hybrid) seeks a Senior Project Manager Software Services to lead software projects for life sciences clients, ensuring on-time delivery, scope adherence and regulatory compliance while contributing to the growth of our Software Services center of excellence.

The role blends hands-on project leadership with coaching, client engagement and business support in a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, CS, Life Sciences or equivalent.
• 8+ years’ experience managing software or digitalization projects.
• Experience in life sciences, pharma, biotech or medical devices.
• Knowledge of GxP, CSV/CSA, data integrity and regulated software.
• Proven ability to manage scope, timelines, budgets and stakeholders.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coaching juniors.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

Senior Project Manager Software Services

As a Senior Project Manager Software Services, you lead software projects for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device sectors. You ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and in compliance with regulatory requirements, while also contributing to the growth and strategic direction of our Software Services center of excellence. What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Project Manager Software Services, you lead software projects for life sciences clients and help steer the center of excellence. Your role has two parts: billable project work and center of excellence support.

Billable (80%)

• Lead software projects end to end, from preparation and project design to implementation and follow-up, for applications such as software systems, SaMD and mobile apps.
• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, timeline, resources and budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping goals and expectations aligned.
• Oversee project deliverables and make sure they meet GxP, data integrity and other relevant regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the implementation of QbD’s quality management software at client sites.
• Guide the consultants on your projects and represent QbD Group during client and internal audits.

Centor of excellence support (20%)

• Report to the Global Head of Software Services and help shape the center of excellence's direction.
• Support RFPs, from scoping and solution design to estimates and proposals.
• Attend SteerCos for different projects.
• Coach less experienced PMs and help them grow in client and project leadership.
• Provide coaching and training to colleagues in the center of excellence, and share your knowledge and best practices.

What you bring

• Master's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing software or digitalization projects.
• Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry.
• Knowledge of GxP, CSV/CSA, data integrity and regulated software environments.
• Proven ability to manage project scope, timelines, budgets and stakeholders.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coaching junior colleagues.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Nice to have

• Experience with SaMD, digital health solutions or mobile applications.
• Experience in a consulting environment.
