Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex IT/OT innovation projects for Marel, coordinating international teams across manufacturing environments. The role focuses on digitalisation, connectivity, cybersecurity, and cloud integration within industrial settings.

You will own projects from concept to release, managing scope, planning, budget, risks, and technical dependencies, working with engineers, cybersecurity specialists and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Proven experience managing complex IT/OT projects.
• Background in manufacturing, industrial automation, or digital transformation.
• Understanding of industrial networking, OT infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation and/or machine connectivity.
• Experience leading international and multidisciplinary teams.

For Marel, Akkodis is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex innovation projects at the intersection of IT and Operational Technology (OT).

The role

As Senior Project Manager, you will lead international, multidisciplinary projects focused on the digitalisation and connectivity of industrial production environments.

Your projects will cover areas such as:

• Machine and edge connectivity
• Cybersecurity
• Cloud integration
• Digitalisation of manufacturing environments

You will take ownership of projects from concept through implementation and product release, managing scope, planning, budget, risks and technical dependencies across IT and OT.

You will work closely with engineers, architects, cybersecurity specialists, business stakeholders and external partners while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and according to the required quality standards.

What are we looking for?

• BSc or MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field
• 10+ years of project management experience
• Proven experience managing complex IT/OT projects
• Background in manufacturing, industrial automation, industrial technology or digital transformation
• Understanding of industrial networking, OT infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation and/or machine connectivity
• Experience leading international and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong stakeholder and change management skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and/or hybrid project methodologies
• Knowledge of NIS2 and/or the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)Experience in food processing or manufacturing
• Dutch and/or German language skills

Important

This is not a general IT Project Manager position. We are specifically looking for someone with proven experience managing projects within industrial IT/OT environments.

Candidates should preferably live within approximately one hour's travel from Boxmeer due to the onsite requirement.
